Benefit Concert Poster
Benefit Concert Poster
This poster was created for a benefit concert raising money for South Kitsap Helpline, a local food bank who had experienced a catastrophic flood that destroyed 20,000 pounds of food. The concert promoters wanted a design that would stand out from other poster styles that are commonly used in our area (think lo-fi zine/cutout style), so I pulled inspiration from the strong color blocking and bold angular shapes of the poster for Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho. To give it that retro feel, I used a more muted color palette, as well as placing a half-tone texture over the band photos/logos. The promoters and bands all absolutely loved the final product, and I am really proud of it!
